Bonus Games
One of the things we love about Aztec Falls is the amount of bonus games there are to unlock.
On each spin there’s the chance to unlock Free Spins, Cash Fall, and the Coin Drop. The Jackpot feature can be unlocked in the Coin Drop feature, so it’s not exactly easy to get, but it is possible.
The Free Spins are unlocked when the Bonus symbol appears in reels 1, 3, and 5. This feature gives you 5 free spins with each spin giving the chance to land full reel sticky wilds on each reel. If ‘Wild’ is shown under the reel a sticky wild will fill that reel. Even better, you can land more than one on each spin. This feature has the chance to pay out really well when wilds land nicely for you.
Cash Fall can be unlocked randomly on any spin. When this feature unlocks the reels move backwards, below each reel will be an amount (eg 50p) or blank, that’s when the fun starts, coins drop from the top into the areas below the reel. Once the feature is finished you’ll receive the total amount from each of the reels. So, if 5 coins drop into a £1 reel, that’s a £5 win, plus the wins from the other reels.
On the 5th reel you’ll notice a coin symbol. If this lands on your spin you’ll release a coin. This falls from the top in a kerplunk style and will land at the bottom of one of the reels. Here you’ll get the chance to unlock one of the following:
Wild: This will turn any square the coin bounced in Wild, giving you the chance to create some win lines. Not always a good paying feature.
Blank: Never a good place to drop, this doesn’t do anything and returns you to the game.
x[number]: This will times either: your bet amount if there’s no winning paylines on the board, or the payline if there’s one on the board. This can be quite nice, but can also be a bit naff if your payline is low paying.
Stacked: This gives you one spin where the reels are stacked with paylines. Not always going to pay amazingly, but it’s better than Blank.
Jackpot: If you land here you’ll unlock the Jackpot feature. This takes you to a spin wheel where you can land on Mini, Minor, Super, or Mega. These will times your bet amount. You also have the chance to gamble on the Jackpot, this gamble feature allows you to take the cash or gamble it for a chance to win a little bit more. The Gamble feature spins a wheel with a red and green section, the red section is larger than the green, land in the red you loose, land in the green you win. Simple, but it is a gamble.
Verdict
As you can see, there’s plenty of bonus features to unlock on Aztec Falls. We think the game is really well designed, with the fun features it’s definitely worth a spin or two.
